Which plan should I start with?
If you're just starting out or unsure of your order volume, start on the Commission plan — you only pay when you earn. Once you have a clear monthly pattern, use our revenue calculator to see if a flat plan saves you money. Orders above 240/month always benefit from the Commission plan.
What happens if I exceed my plan's order cap?
If you regularly exceed your plan's monthly order cap, you'll need to upgrade to the next plan. Our calculator automatically detects when your volume exceeds a plan's limits and recommends the correct tier. You won't be charged overage fees — we simply guide you to the right plan.
Can I switch between plans?
Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch between the commission and flat plans at any time. No penalties. No lock-in periods. Use the calculator to find the right plan as your business grows.
How is the 18% commission calculated?
The 18% commission is calculated on the order subtotal — the food value only. Platform and delivery fees are charged directly to the customer and are not included in the commission calculation. You only pay commission on revenue you actually receive.
What payment gateway do you use?
Wangu uses Paystack for all customer payments. Paystack's processing fee is charged to the customer as part of the platform fee — it does not affect your payout in any way.
What's the delivery fee structure?
Delivery fees are charged to the customer and capped between R10 and R35 per order. Wangu takes approximately 8% of the delivery fee. Restaurants can use their own drivers or manage third-party couriers through the platform's delivery management tools.
Is there a free trial or setup fee?
There are no setup fees on any plan. The Commission plan effectively gives you a zero-cost start — you begin earning immediately and only pay when orders come in. Book a demo and we'll walk through the entire setup with you.
